Did You Know Honey Is Actually Bee Vomit?

It sounds wild, but it’s true

honey is made when bees regurgitate nectar they’ve collected from flowers.
A forager bee stores nectar in a special “honey stomach,” separate from her digestive one. When she returns to the hive, she vomits the nectar into another bee’s mouth.
Each bee in this chain adds natural enzymes that break down the sugars, transforming the thin nectar into something thicker and richer.
Finally, bees fan the liquid with their wings to remove moisture, and that’s how it becomes the golden honey we know and love.
So yes technically, it’s bee vomit… but it’s also one of nature’s purest and most remarkable creations.
